چکیده
The aim of this work was to determine the compounds with antimicrobial capacity from crude extracts and leaf fractions Byrsonima crassifolia Inga edulis. A solid-liquid extraction performed using three solvent systems (acetate, methanol methanol: water). were submitted susceptibility tests for Gram-negative Gram-positive bacteria by disk diffusion Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) methods. solid phase (SPE) identify phenolic pre-concentration pre-purification that presented potential. methanolic fraction able extract highest total content also largest halos in test. minimum inhibitory concentration ranged 125 500 ?g/ml mL-1 12.5 200 bacteria, respectively. After SPE, showed inhibition against all themicroorganisms tested at a lower when compared standardized antibiotics. Gallic acid, ferric myricetin quercetin activity alone. catechin, epicatechin, ferrulic quercetin, other 4 major identified quantified 3 edulis.

ácido gálico, ferrúlico, miricetina quercetina atividade quando isoladamente. detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts
in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
Phenolic compounds from leaves of Casimiroa edulis showed adipogenesis activity.
Casimiroa edulis is known as cochitzapotl, and it belongs to a species of tropical fruiting tree in the family Rutaceae, native to eastern Mexico and Central America south to Costa Rica. In this study, we isolated two furocoumarins and two polymethoxyflavones from leaves of C. edulis and evaluated the functions of glucose and lipid metabolism activity with 3T3-L1 adipocytes. We discovered that ...

comparison of catalytic activity of heteropoly compounds in the synthesis of bis(indolyl)alkanes.
heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...

We report the determination of phenolic compounds in olive leaves by reversed-phase HPLC/DAD, and the evaluation of their in vitro activity against several microorganisms that may be causal agents of human intestinal and respiratory tract infections, namely gram positive (Bacillus cereus, B. subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus), gram negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli an...
